Functions

We meet for lunch on the SECOND Sunday of the month at Hamilton Station Hotel Fern St (cnr Beaumont St) Islington 2296
(02) 4961 3852, followed by afternoon tea/coffee back at my home (less than 10 minutes walk away).

 However, quite e few of us meet at the Gateway EACH Friday evening, around 5.30-6 pm for drinks followed by dinner around 7 pm at Hamilton Station Hotel.

 Our other activities include a picnic every two or three months, usually the last Sunday of the month. The venues for these very popular picnics can be one of the numerous parks/reserves around Lake Macquarie and Newcastle, or one of the other many scenic spots, such as Mt Sugarloaf, and the Walka Water Works at Maitland.

 Everyone brings their own food and drinks, and can partake of the various games I bring along, such as Boules, Cricket, croquet etc. Always a lot of fun!

 COMAG has links with other groups, from Gosford and the Central Coast, to Brisbane. Often, guys from these groups will come to Newcastle for the COMAG lunch and afternoon tea/coffee, especially the December Christmas Party!!

 Other activities include the dinner cruises on Newcastle Harbour on the “Moonshadow”, a guided tour of Maitland Gaol (Scary!), theatre parties, and the list goes on!
